Say What?

No, it isn’t a headline from The Onion:

"My wish is that Iran uses its influence in the government and on Assad and his entourage so that we take the first steps towards a de-escalation in Syria," [German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier] said in Tehran on the first official visit to Iran by a German foreign minister in more than 10 years.

  1. """"Steinmeier said he wanted Assad's forces to stop using barrel bombs"""

Notice how they try to create a controversy out of nothing and seize the moral high road. How is a “barrel bomb’ any worse then any of the bombs in German military inventory.? They both blow up, they both kill people and destroy property.

The real moral issue is not barrel bomb or 500lb GP bomb but how its being used.

  2. Syrian barrel bombs amazingly only kill people who the USG call "innocent" while the USG smart bomb only kill people who the USG call "not innocent". The neat thing about smart bombs is they will kill non innocent people before the government even knows about that persons status. Remarkably, after the smart bomb has killed, the USG finds out that everyone who died were actually not innocent.
