From GBNews. The discussion is regarding the treatment of Novak Djokovic by the Australian government. From the host:
Because of what Australians have been put through the last two years, they are angry. Australians have been treated in an inhumane way by their governments, both federally and at the state level.
He then goes on to list just a small sampling of this inhumane treatment.
As the government has failed to control the virus, it is like the Australian population wants to punish the outsiders, the “plague rats,” as some of them are describing them, who are coming in on flights. Since the Australian government has punished Australians with cruelty, Australians want to put that cruelty on visitors.
My thoughts: once the lie is exposed – and it will be exposed – this type of treatment is likely for all who resisted the narrative, the masks, the distancing, the jab. It will come for all who said this entire narrative is a lie.
When people figure out that they have been dupes – and worse, that their gullibility has resulted in long-term health consequences for themselves, and, God help them, their children (although many of these parents won’t care), they will not come after the liars. They will come after those who saw through the lies from the beginning.
Conclusion
Neil Oliver notes that he speaks to many Australians and others who just want this to end, and they aren’t angry about Djokovic, etc. This will be true for those who are good hearted and just went along because it was easy – the middle forty percent, per Desmet.
But it won’t be true for the thirty percent who are the true believers. They will be dangerous; they will have vengeance on their heart.
And the state will be on their side.
"But it won’t be true for the thirty percent who are the true believers."
ReplyDeleteLet'em be mad. Let'em riot. Let'em invalidate their entire argument root and branch as they descend into Satanic irrational rage and commit acts of terror on their own neighbors. Let'em also reap the consequences of that behavior on an armed and increasingly disgruntled 'other 30 percent'. And let those in the middle 40 see it. It should be interesting times ahead. I hope we are both wrong.
“The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. True terror will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy, but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.” - Unknown
Yeah. For that to happen though "those who wanted to be left alone" have to organize. Of course they will also have to identify and kick out the 6-12 FBI agents in their ranks.
DeleteBtw, Bionic, I saw one of your recent articles linked to on the Revolver website. Cool to see.
https://thecrosssectionrmb.blogspot.com/
ATL, we all know (and some readers here may be) individuals that are well-trained in arts that others would wish they never unleashed. If and when it comes to food, shelter, clothing, job...woe to those who attempt to provide enforcement.
DeleteThey are and would be very happy to just be left alone.
RMB, I noticed that. The article suddenly started getting thousands of page views, and I followed up on the source.
Delete"...when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed..."
DeleteIs this a good answer to WWJD?
While this is will certainly be the choice of some, perhaps many, I'm sure that you know that these are not going to be the ones to win the battle. "Unholy vengance," and "raw hate," are what we are fighting against. Some of those who resort to this will do so under circumstances that make it understandable. But those circumstances won't make it right.
Jeff, the difficulty comes when confronted with the alternative between loving our neighbor (family) and loving our enemy.
DeleteWhen these two are in conflict...each will choose his own way and answer for it both in this world and the next.
As you say, understandable. Right or wrong? I don't know that the answer is cut and dry.
To be clear, I'm not advocating absolute pacifism. But, if we are to defend ourselves, our families, and our neighbors, is it not imperative that we do so without letting our humanity be destroyed?
DeleteJeff,
DeleteAs you point out, it isn't a perfectly Christian quote. We are never supposed to hate or do anything unholy, and we are called to show mercy when good can be a result, but I included it in my comment because it captures a reality that does exist in this country, right or wrong. If the Left keeps pushing, eventually, they will find that they've pushed too far. And many of those on the Right and the Middle who 'push back' will not be very good Christians or Christians at all. I'm not happy about that, but it's just the reality of the situation.
Of course, we must keep our humanity (as Redeemed by Jesus) intact and do our best to foster that in those around us. I'm not an advocate of this sort of nationwide 'boogaloo' or whatever militant Right-wingers are calling it. The much more sensible solution is peaceful session, though even that is not a cure-all for any state of this unholy Union. It's a damn good start though.
Well said, ATL. Looking back at my original comment, it's tone sounds more like judgemental criticism than I'd intended. I meant it to be constructively critical, and I am grateful that you seem to have taken it as such.
DeleteThe main reason I felt compelled to comment is an interesting one. I am still trying in earnest to gain real faith (call me a fledgling Bionic, Peterson and Pageau convert.) So, given my less than full faith, I've been surprised by the fact that I agree with, and feel comforted by assertions that this is not a physical, but a spiritual war we are engaged in. I know that you, Bionic and the vast majority of the regular commenters here know this. I think that it should remain at the front of our minds, and be the main thing we speak of when the topic arrises.
Thanks for all of your comments here. I find much value in them. And, as always, thanks Bionic.
I am with ATL. Let them come.
DeleteThe Covid narrative is visibly collapsing and, in the context of a war, we are pushing back on all sides and beginning the mop-up operations. There is no doubt in my mind that this will continue until it is over.
There is no reasoning with those who bought the lie and swallowed it without reserve. They cannot be wrong and will never admit they were wrong. These are the first 30%. They will only blend in, slowly and gradually, with the majority opinion that Covid is now nothing more than a typical seasonal flu. This will easily be seen by the disappearance of face masks to the point that a person wearing one will be considered an oddity.
The second 30% are those who never succumbed and have resisted. Neither will they admit they were wrong, but they will not have to change their viewpoint. Instead, everyone else, except the diehards, will come to see the situation as they do.
Out of the balance, the 40%, none of those will move into the Covidian camp. Instead, they will shift their support to the "Free World", especially as concerns lockdowns, mandates, and other freedom restricting measures. Enough of these will migrate to the free side of the scale so that even politicians notice the movement and begin to act accordingly.
Eventually, DeSmet's numbers might look like this--10/20/70--with the seventy made up of those who resisted from the beginning and those who simply went along with the hoax. The rest are the others, but some have softened their stance--somewhat, to a degree.
If left alone, Covid, the Narrative, will fade into the dustbin of history as an anomaly and aberration. The danger lies, not so much in those who were gulled, but in the ones who perpetrated the fraud AND have the power and resources to produce a different outcome. The "sold" ones are only tools to use in order to effect this, therefore, they are dangerous.
As it now stands, this situation reminds me of the Battle of the Bulge in WW2, in which Germany threw everything it had against the Allies in a desperation move, knowing full well that they were beaten. When the initiative failed, the Allies rolled into the heart of the beast and cleaned up the mess. We are going to do the same.
Let them come.
Thank you, Jeff.
DeleteRegarding it being a spiritual battle, you are right to remind us of this. Unfortunately, the spirits use real flesh and blood human beings to do the dirty work, and the flesh and blood human beings don't play fair.
It stinks. And I don't say anything one way or the other about how any individual chooses to act. But this spiritual fight has been taking place in the world occupied by humans for all of recorded history.
Roger, I think you are right as far as Covid goes. But what happens when the next big lie is told?
DeleteAgain, the media and a large portion of the population...will they question the narrative, or will fear and the lack of any critical thinking skills dominate - as has been the case for the last several decades?
I am under no illusions about the near future. I am sure the lies will get bigger and the fear will be ramped up to a new level. It will not be good for most of us.
DeleteNevertheless, I think a fire has been sparked in the minds of many persons who before were accepting of the "truth" of the State. These people have been jolted out of their complacency and, as time goes on and they learn more and become more consistent with a new way of thinking, will never again swallow the lies simply because they originate from "official sources". Skepticism and cynicism are becoming rampant and that trend will only increase as society breaks down. It may become a world of every man for himself until the insanity is over, which may not happen for a long time.
The legacy media and large portions of the population may very well believe and promote the new narrative, but every time that a big lie is told and sold, more people wake up to the truth. Every time that a lie is found out and collapses, people lose trust in the liar and turn away from him (it). The simplest way to put it is to recall the fable about the boy who cried wolf...too many times.
As far as what happens when the next big lie is told, I cannot say, but I do know that I am ready to meet it head on. I have gained experience, lost the fear, and built a large and growing network of friends through the process of resisting and refuting the Covid lie. I am sure that I am not alone.
Let them come. Their end is certain.
Brandon Smith just published an article which has some relevance to this topic.
Deletehttps://alt-market.us/for-leftists-your-freedom-is-their-misery-your-slavery-is-their-joy/
And there is this from Alasdair Macleod. He was discussing financial issues, but the quote can easily be applied here.
Delete“It can take a long period of suffering before an otherwise supine population refuses to continue submitting unquestionably to authority. But the longer the condition exists, the more oppressive the methods that the state uses to defer the inevitable crisis become. Until something finally gives.”
https://www.goldmoney.com/research/goldmoney-insights/a-euro-catastrophe-could-collapse-it
Lastly, until the next time, this nugget from Jeffrey Tucker.
Delete"What we see here is a deeply dangerous loss of trust not only in government, but in everything, including tech, media, experts in general, and a growing cultural perception that truth is no longer accessible to us.
We are living amidst the rising of information chaos, the late stages of what Robert Malone has called mass formation psychosis. Where it ends up cannot be known in advance, but that something is coming and will hit us very hard is no longer in doubt."
https://dailyreckoning.com/freedom-is-the-answer/
This too shall pass. The time will come when people get up out of the miry stench they have been wallowing in for years and decades, even centuries, wipe the filth out of their eyes and ears, and ask The Question--"How shall we then live?"
People who know the truth have to be there with The Answer--"You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free."
It is interesting that Tucker claims that we are living in a time of cultural perception that truth is no longer accessible to us, but asserts later in the article that freedom is the answer.
"It must be rooted in the traditions of freedom. We need to learn to find happiness in human choice, tolerance and peace with our neighbors. We need to again find joy in work and fulfillment in prosperity and health."
He has it backward. You do not lose the truth and find it again in freedom. You lose your freedom and find it in the truth. This is the only way it works.
Aye, nodded a prodigal Southern son.
