A Hodge-Podge of Random Thoughts

Lots going on, lots on my mind.  As they say, here is a data dump.

Truly Non-Player Characters

In video games, [non-player character (NPC)] usually means a character controlled by the computer (instead of a player) that has a predetermined set of behaviors that potentially will impact gameplay, but will not necessarily be the product of true artificial intelligence.

It is truly amazing how quickly everyone’s attention went from all covid all the time to Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.  A month ago, I was already overwhelmingly impressed at the level of propaganda mind-control that could be exercised over the mass of humanity.  But then, to see how quickly this mass could be directed toward a new enemy – from an almost harmless virus to Putin.  It is stunning.

In true NPC manner, they have “a predetermined set of behaviors that potentially will impact gameplay.”

Speaking of an Almost Harmless Virus

Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago that this covid situation was so dangerous that truckers were required to be jabbed in order to cross a border, that companies were demanding employees to be jabbed, that colleges were requiring students to be jabbed?  That Trudeau enacted a war measure?

Now…no masks, no jab talk, nothing.  I know, it is only a brief respite and that there are a few holdouts of covidian true believers.

Unfortunately, some version of it will return, and the masses will once again lap it up.

The Solutions Seem So Simple

-          All Trudeau had to do regarding truckers was to remove the mandates.

-          All the West had to do regarding Ukraine was ensure it wasn’t a threat to Russia.

-          All Biden had to do regarding Keystone was to allow it to proceed.

-          All Germany had to do was authorize the opening of Nord-Stream II.

Let’s Not Forget the Peaceful Riots

Oh, to go back to the halcyon days of the summer of 2020, when – even in the face of a devastating pandemic – the bravest among us defied the authorities and decided to gather maskless in large numbers….

As is proper in a well-functioning democracy, they were left free to peacefully riot.  How else would the government understand the will of the people?  After all, cancelling opinions contrary to the mainstream is no way to ensure that all voices are heard.

And then we had the street ice-hockey terrorists in Ottawa.  As opposed to the peaceful riots from eighteen months earlier, these people had to audacity to honk their horns and bring bouncy castles for the kids.

The Face of Terrorism

They Don’t Even Try to Hide It

“Ukraine has biological research facilities, which in fact we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of.”

So says the cookie-monster, Victoria Nuland.  Am I the only one who remembers the last two years?

What could they possibly be biologically researching in Ukraine that would be of any concern if Russia got hold of it?  I mean, if they are just genetically engineering wheat or something, is it that big of a deal?

Or This Map?

Republicans Really Are the Stupid Party

Going into the mid-terms, they had the covid nonsense to run against.  But, just proving that militarism and warmongering are what truly unite the political parties (and, sadly, much of the country), they are walking arm in arm with the democrats.

How will republicans differentiate themselves in November?  Oh, yeah.  There is no difference.  And there hasn’t been since at least November, 1963.

Nothing to See Here

When a drug-addled Hunter Biden abandoned his waterlogged computer at a Mac repair shop in Delaware in the spring of 2019, just six days before his father announced his candidacy for the United States presidency, it became the ticking time bomb in the shadows of Joe Biden’s campaign.

But this has nothing to do with what’s happening in Ukraine today, you Putin puppet you.

Remember, They are Always Projecting

In its malignant forms, [psychological projection] is a defense mechanism in which the ego defends itself against disowned and highly negative parts of the self by denying their existence in themselves and attributing them to others…

For example:

U.S. intelligence officials claimed Tuesday that Vladimir Putin is ‘desperate’ to end the conflict over Ukraine, with some privately suggesting he could set off a tactical nuclear weapon in a Ukrainian city to get the job done.

Or pretty much everything thrown at those who haven’t and don’t buy into the agenda and talking points of the last six years.

War’s First Casualty

Truth.

I don’t know what lies are being peddled in Russia or the Ukraine, but the lies being peddled in the United States are being swallowed faster than they can be concocted.

If They Purposefully Wanted to Destroy the West, They Couldn’t be Doing a Better Job of It

Really, I don’t think I need to add any color on this one.

Well, maybe just one thing – although it will be understated by the time you read this:

Epilogue

As I finished writing this post a couple of days ago, Jonathan Pageau put out a video discussing the situation in Ukraine.  But not just Ukraine.  He connects this to the fake news we have been living through over the last six years – fake news on Trump, on covid, on the peaceful riots, on the Biden election, etc.

Of all of the people I watch who are involved in this meaning crisis conversation (basically Pageau, Jordan Peterson, and Paul VanderKlay), Pageau is the only one who has consistently seen the situation for what it is.

Peterson and VanderKlay have struggled to get out of their modern-liberal worldviews.  Pageau hasn’t had this issue; as he has said before, for him the model and best form of government is a monarchy (which, if you have to have such a thing, Hans Hoppe would agree).

So, given his proper views on the garbage we have been fed the last half-dozen year, this makes his comments in this video even more troubling.  Let’s just say he quickly sums up all of the random thoughts I have worked through in this post and ends up comparing our time today to what happened in the West one hundred years ago.  Why wouldn’t he?  He sees patterns.  And he has been seeing pretty clearly now for all the time I have watched him.

Giving his visual clarity and prescience over the years, I suggest he is not to be taken lightly.  It’s only about seventeen minutes long.  Take the time to watch.

What do you mean by, "if?"

And, what do you mean by, "trying?"

It's as if you write this blog, but don't read it. Now that I think of it, four graphics in one post? Did you get hacked by Eric Petters again?

These comments are all in good fun. We must laugh in the face of annihilation.

Good work Bionic, and God help us.

    1. I have found wording it just that way with others is a "safe" way to see if they are open to some discussion of the counter-narrative.

As to the four graphics...yeah, I know. But some of these points were better made with a picture than another few thousand words.

    2. Again, all in good fun. No actual criticism was intended. I hope your post reaches as many people as possible.

    3. None taken, Jeff. I wondered even myself as to why so many graphics. I don't think I average four per year, let alone in one post.

  2. Yes: how quickly the masks came off, and the war hate came on. John Stuart Mill, I think, stipulated that only those who were gross tax payers, not gross tax consumers, should be entitled to vote. The notion of tying citizen status with property ownership occurs as a theme in early republican thought. Dr. H.H. Hoppe prefers monarchy over democracy, since a monarch has some reason to care for the future. A modest proposal: only those who have, and care for, children should have the right to vote, the argument essentially being that of Hoppe. Such a restriction of voting might affect a republic's position on foreign policy, more narrowly, on war.

    1. I really like the idea of tax consumers not being able to vote. Military wouldn't get to vote, but the principle is spot on.

    2. The idea of "those with children" is also good, but only the subset of these who are not tax-eaters.

  3. You amaze me Bionic. Just the way you can express this in an orderly and easy to understand way.
In my attempt tp express thing most times end up garbled. It is like all these scrambled puzzle pieces in my head can almost see the picture but they are just scrambled enough and it keeps me from seeing clearly. Am glad to have stumbled in here.
