A Road to Nowhere

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Takin' that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride

Well, the report is in.  No collusion.  What is the word on the street?  From the resistance – “well, we haven’t seen the report and anyway no matter what is says we know that there was collusion and everyone is going to prison.”

From those who viewed this entire thing as a scam, but are otherwise defenders of the system:

Russia is still the dangerous enemy.  Of course, otherwise those sucking on the teats of the war machine will have to go on a diet – or, more likely, create another enemy…well, in addition to China, Iran, Venezuela…not to mention all of the enemies that are already suffering the wrath of the beast.

FISA laws must be re-written to prevent such abuse.  FISA is in place to protect Americans; if they lose trust in the system, we will lose our ability to protect Americans.  Why is it when they say “re-written,” I hear “further loss of liberty”?  In any case, if they really wanted to prevent such abuses in the future all they need to do is throw a few of the higher-ups in prison.

It is possible that Trump may just do this – but not to anyone very high up; certainly not higher than Brennan.  John Batchelor offers that the entire thing is a Hillary operation: “She and she alone is perpetrator of that fraud.”  I think Clinton goes down if the Democratic Party wants to be rid of her – not prison, but shown the door in the way only the evil can.

Of course, it all started under Obama.  But he is certainly untouchable.

This can’t be pushed too far – perhaps a big enough head to satisfy Trump’s public, but not too big to then expose the system: there will be no “draining of the swamp” on Trump’s watch.  If I had to bet, it will probably be some shoe clerk – an irrelevant sacrificial lamb – if it is even anyone.

Conclusion

They can tell you what to do
But they'll make a fool of you
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

Being made to play the fool is standard fare for many these days – see CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.  But at least these fools get paid handsomely for their efforts.

As to the fools that make up the masses of the resistance?  Perhaps they are merely working on the rewards available to them in the afterlife.
