Hooray for ObamaCare!

Right off the bat, I will credit Gary North for putting words together that crystalized this idea in my head.

The rollout of Obamacare is a bomb (O-bomb-a has a new meaning, it appears).

With a flow chart like this, what did he expect? (And if the flow chart is a special from “The Onion,” please don’t mention it as you will get in the way of a good story.)

With many Americans experiencing error messages and long waits in trying to sign on to healthcare.gov, Republicans in Congress who have fought the Affordable Care Act since before its 2010 passage renewed calls for a delay in the rollout.

NOOOOOO!  Don’t delay the rollout.  Let it be seen for the stillborn abomination that it is.  Frustrate millions of Americans, and then send the IRS after them for not signing up.  Watch the backlash against Obama and the democrats when that happens (not that the republican candidates of 2014 will be any better; it is just fun theater).

If you delay the rollout, you only let this monstrosity off the hook.

In a speech, Obama said: "Nobody's madder than me about the fact that the website isn't working as well as it should, which means it's going to get fixed."

Obama is now a project manager / systems administrator / efficiency expert / information technology guru all rolled into one?  Well, considering how many people believed him to be the second coming, this is actually a step down.

"There's no sugarcoating it. The website has been too slow. People have been getting stuck during the application process. And I think it's fair to say that nobody is more frustrated by that than I am," said Obama, who counts the law as his most significant domestic policy achievement.

Yes – so leave the law as is, and allow his most significant domestic policy achievement to be revealed in its full glory.

The administration has not provided data on how many people have actually managed to enroll in a health insurance plan.

Why not?  Probably not because the sign-ups are occurring at a fast clip.

"Americans didn't get any answers from the president today, but the House's oversight of this failure is just beginning," said House Speaker John Boehner, the top Republican in Congress.

Rest assured – if Republicans do anything to delay the roll-out, it is because they don’t want the program to be discredited.  Let it roll, baby, let it roll!

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, a central player in settling last week's fiscal impasse, said the healthcare law's problems intensify the need to delay the requirement that every American possess health insurance by March 31 or pay a penalty fee.

No, force the issue!  You want to see a multi-million man march on Washington?  Let the law stand.

Referring to Republicans, White House spokesman Carney commented Monday that "there's clearly some joy being taken in some quarters" with the program's problems.

There is even some joy in some non-Republicans, and certainly in the mosquito community!
