Originally, the Nazi plan was devised to destabilize the economy of the British empire by dropping freshly printed banknotes from Luftwaffe aircraft. Of course that was a long time ago and (apparently) the fundamental laws of economics have changed drastically since the old days. Therefore, had the plan been carried out today - contrary to the original idea and the old laws of economics - it would in fact stimulate rather than decimate the British economy.

Yer think?
:/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648884752216444797.post-46307148800757201032015-09-19T11:43:28.806-07:002015-09-19T11:43:28.806-07:00PM. As for Korea, Japan took over there nearly forty years earlier, so not only was that also a minor operation, it was more linked with the First World War!P.M.Lawrencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16958277602980951566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648884752216444797.post-32875664013747211062015-09-19T05:08:18.473-07:002015-09-19T05:08:18.473-07:00I guess you didn't live in Manchuria at the ti...I guess you didn't live in Manchuria at the time?

And you conveniently ignore Korea?bionic mosquitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12002548958078731031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648884752216444797.post-14324759335546693752015-09-19T05:01:02.911-07:002015-09-19T05:01:02.911-07:00"... Japan’s Christian prime minister Takahashi Korekiyo instructed the Bank of Japan in 1932 to fund a blitz of fiscal spending until deflation was defeated, pulling his country out of the Great Depression remarkably quickly... Anyway, more important to remember that Japan at the time was in the midst of one of the greatest military adventures of the 20th century".

Ah, no, it wasn't "in the midst of one of the greatest military adventures of the 20th century" then. That didn't start until the Marco Polo bridge incident, "often used as the marker for the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945)", on the 8th of July 1937. Yes, Manchuria was invaded in 1931 and soon afterwards other Chinese territory was added to that, but there was nothing major about those earlier operations.P.M.Lawrencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16958277602980951566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648884752216444797.post-70949478687073163122015-09-19T01:26:00.058-07:002015-09-19T01:26:00.058-07:00What scares me is that I get the sense the elites ...What scares me is that I get the sense the elites are starting to believe in a winnable nuclear war.
