"Judge not, that ye be not judged" i.e. don't judge anybody at all by any criteria, is Christian. duallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09388117825922363109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-648884752216444797.post-45606899174629281902020-06-16T11:06:27.000-07:002020-06-16T11:06:27.000-07:00Great post, very on point. John Adams said this form of government would only work for a religious and moral people. We see today the results of that morality being thrown aside. Your comments about there being no redemption is spot on. It is tied directly to their worldview. In a secular (or non-Christian) worldview there is no final judgement by God, so they demand "justice" now at any cost. It's a perversion of justice. Our legal system was based on the idea that criminals might get away in this life, but there will be a final judgement in the next one; so we must protect the innocent. These are all Biblical ideas. Now that it's taboo and becoming illegal to follow Biblical teaching, I fear thing swill only get worse. And hard hitting.

I work closely with a young man (well, he just turned 40) who freely professes to be progressive, Democrat, and in tune with much of what is happening today. He and I have had numerous discussions and there are times I think I am making headway, often against the wind and in heavy seas. You have given me very good arguments. I will try to make good use of them.

Thank you.

Rogerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08156823478509665137noreply@blogger.com
